neuroinclusion
our story

Our story officially began in May, 2024 when Claire Britton (founder and senior occupational therapist) was receiving an abundance of requests for neurodiversity-affirming therapy and education for families, educators and the wider community through her instagram account. She realised that the values, services, approaches and recommendations she utilises and promotes through her clinical mentoring, personal life and instagram, were not common practice yet. She felt frustrated that there weren't organisations with what the neurodivergent community needed.  Therefore, she felt the desire to fill this need by created Neuroinclusion.

Due to her own neurodivergence, she experienced several hurdles but this further built her determination and perserverance. As an occupational therapist, she had worked in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, homes, shared living accommodations, camps, parks, recreation centres, childcare centres and other community settings. She even has gained occupational therapy experience in Tanzania and South Africa. However, she was yet to find the type of service that she wished she had been a client of as a child, teenager, adult and parent. This is what inspired her to created Neuroinclusion.
